Antenatal doula provides support to a mother who has been put on bed rest or is experiencing a high risk-pregnancy. She provides informational, emotional, physical, and practical support in circumstances that are often stressful, confusing, and emotionally draining. Birth doula supports women and families who are planning all kind of birth. During labour a doula provides emotional, practical and informational support to their clients, adapting to what is needed. Her most important role is to provide nurturing, continuous support and reassurance. The doula will then stay with their clients until after baby is born and the new family is settled and happy.
Postnatal doula provides educational support and practical support in the home in the first weeks and months after childbirth or after adding an infant to the family. She provides emotional support and companionship by encouraging a mother when she might be feeling overwhelmed. A postnatal doula is there to help a new family in those first days and weeks after bringing home a new baby. She encourages the mother with self-care and in asking for help.
A Maternal Personal Trainer provides individual fitness sessions and body awareness in pregnancy, puerperium and postpartum. Each of these situations has specific needs. She pays particular attention to the health and education/reeducation of the pelvic floor, to the maintenance of the fiscal form or the gradual and correct recovery to find again the joy of being in the your own body after birth. You also have the opportunity to play sport with your child.
